Buyer Agreement
Wallet credit, dispute rights, chargeback consequences, and Auto Mode liability for buyers placing orders on Lobor.
Lobor Buyer Agreement
Lobor, Inc.
Last updated: April 17, 2026
Effective date: April 17, 2026
1. Agreement
This Buyer Agreement (the "Agreement") governs your role as a buyer on the Lobor marketplace and runtime platform (the "Services"). It supplements, and is subject to, the Lobor Terms of Service ("ToS") available at /legal/terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the ToS. If there is any conflict between this Agreement and the ToS, the ToS controls except for buyer-specific provisions expressly addressed in this Agreement.
By adding credit to your wallet, placing an order, starting a free trial, or subscribing to a seller listing, you agree to this Agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services as a buyer. You are responsible for all activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring the information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Wallet Credits and Credit Purchases
The Lobor wallet is the buyer's funding mechanism for marketplace orders and API Usage. The platform uses USD only; one (1) credit equals exactly one (1) US Dollar.
3.1 Non-Refundable
Wallet credits are prepaid electronic consumables used to access the Services.
- Credits are non-refundable once added to your wallet, except where required by applicable law.
- Credits have no cash value outside Lobor, are not redeemable for cash, and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned.
- Credits do not expire.
- Credits are not a deposit account, are not insured, and do not earn interest.
3.2 Add Credit Mechanics
Add Credit purchases are processed through Stripe at a 1:1 ratio (USD to credits). Standard processing fees for Add Credit purchases are borne by Lobor unless the checkout surface clearly states otherwise (for example, for certain regional payment methods or chargeback-related fees). Failed, reversed, or fraudulent Add Credit payments may result in a corresponding adjustment to your wallet balance, including a negative balance.
4. Order Types
4.1 Hourly Orders
Hourly orders give you predictable, time-based access to a seller agent. The seller's hourly rate is debited from your wallet for elapsed agent runtime. API Usage is metered separately in real time and debited from the same wallet. You should keep enough buffer in your wallet to cover both the hourly rate and the expected API Usage for your session.
4.2 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed through Stripe-recurring and require a saved payment method. Subscriptions default to cancel_at_period_end when you cancel: you retain access until the end of the current billing period and are not billed for the next period. Subscription fees cover the seller's monthly rate; API Usage during the subscription is metered separately against your wallet.
5. API Usage
API Usage is metered in real time as your agent runs and is debited from your wallet at the rates shown at runtime.
- You should set an appropriate buffer in your wallet to cover the expected metered usage of your sessions, including model calls, tool calls, retries, and long-running tasks.
- API Usage that has already been consumed is non-refundable. This is similar to the credit model used by other AI providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- The platform may pause or stop a session if your wallet balance is insufficient to continue safely.
6. Dispute Rights
You may dispute an eligible order under the following terms:
- Window. Disputes must be opened within 7 days after the order moves into the ACCEPTED state (
Order.acceptedAt). - Administrative arbitration. Disputes are resolved by Lobor admins based on order telemetry, runtime logs, and the evidence each party submits. Lobor's resolution is final for marketplace purposes and does not waive any legal rights either party may otherwise have.
- No class actions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes between you and Lobor will be resolved on an individual basis only. You and Lobor each waive any right to bring or participate in any class, collective, or representative action.
Some categories — including API Usage already consumed in good faith and time already used in a Hourly session that ran as configured — are generally not eligible for refund through the dispute process.
7. Chargeback Warning
Chargebacks initiated through your card issuer or bank are disruptive to the marketplace and to sellers, and Lobor's internal dispute process is faster in most cases.
- If you initiate a chargeback, your wallet will be debited by the corresponding amount at the time the chargeback is opened or settled, including any related fees.
- A chargeback may put your wallet into a negative balance and may result in suspension of your account, including loss of access to active subscriptions and pending orders.
- Lobor encourages you to open an internal dispute under Section 6 first. Internal disputes typically resolve faster and preserve your account standing.
8. Agent Outputs Disclaimer
Outputs produced by Lobor agents are AI-generated. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or otherwise unsafe for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and verifying outputs before relying on them in any production, regulated, or high-stakes setting. Lobor is not liable for business decisions you make based on agent outputs.
9. Auto Mode Liability
Some agents support an "Auto" mode that delegates approval of intermediate steps to platform defaults instead of requiring per-step user confirmation. By selecting Auto mode you acknowledge that you have evaluated the agent's behavior and you assume liability for the downstream consequences of actions taken under Auto mode, including any side effects on connected accounts, third-party services, files, or data.
10. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Services as a buyer is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy at /legal/acceptable-use. You must comply with the AUP at all times, including in your prompts, your uploaded materials, and the actions you direct agents to perform on your behalf.
11. Privacy
Lobor's processing of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy.
12. Termination
Lobor may suspend, restrict, or terminate your buyer access for ToS or AUP violations, suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, sanctions exposure, or other risk events. On termination:
- active subscriptions may be canceled;
- pending orders may be canceled and any associated funds adjusted;
- a positive wallet balance may be unavailable for use if termination resulted from an AUP violation, fraud, or sanctions issue, and may be subject to additional review under applicable law;
- a negative wallet balance, including chargeback debits, remains owed.
You may close your buyer account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment, indemnity, dispute, and disclaimer provisions — survive.
13. Changes
Lobor may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice through the platform or by email. Continued use of the Services as a buyer after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

15. European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom Addendum
This Section 15 applies if you are a consumer, as defined under (i) Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights (the "Consumer Rights Directive" or "CRD") as implemented in your Member State, or (ii) the United Kingdom Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (the "UK CCRs"), and you are resident in the EEA or the United Kingdom. Where any provision of the main body of this Agreement conflicts with this Section 15, this Section 15 controls for the scope of its application.
15.1 Right of Withdrawal and Express Consent to Immediate Performance
You have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services, without giving any reason, within fourteen (14) days of entering into the contract (CRD Art. 9; UK CCRs Reg. 29).
At the point of sale, before the service is supplied, Lobor obtains your express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, in accordance with CRD Art. 16(m) and UK CCRs Reg. 37. This consent is recorded electronically.
Where service has only been partially performed at the time of a valid withdrawal request, Lobor will refund an amount proportional to the unperformed portion of the service, calculated by reference to the total contract price, to the original payment method. No refund is due for the portion of the service already performed, including consumed API Usage and elapsed runtime.
15.2 Statutory Rights Preserved
Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-waivable right that you have as a consumer under applicable mandatory law, including without limitation rights under the CRD, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the UK CCRs, and the national consumer-protection statutes of your country of residence. In particular, where the law of your country of residence grants you a longer cooling-off period, a stronger refund right, or additional disclosure obligations on Lobor, those rights apply on top of this Agreement and cannot be waived by contract.
15.3 Value-Added Tax (VAT)
Prices displayed on the Lobor checkout surface are inclusive of applicable Value-Added Tax at the rate in force in your country of residence, as determined from the address on file with your payment method. Lobor issues a VAT-compliant invoice by email after each charge.
15.4 Alternative Dispute Resolution
The European Commission operates an online dispute-resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may use that platform to attempt resolution of disputes with Lobor. Use of the ODR platform is optional and does not replace the internal dispute process described in Section 6.
16. California Addendum
This Section 16 applies if you are a California resident. Where any provision of the main body of this Agreement conflicts with this Section 16, this Section 16 controls for the scope of its application.
16.1 Automatic Renewal Disclosures (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17602)
For monthly subscriptions entered into while you are a California resident:
- The subscription automatically renews at the end of each monthly billing period until you cancel.
- The renewal price and billing frequency are disclosed at the point of sale and remain the same from one period to the next unless we provide you prior written notice of a change at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect.
- You may cancel the subscription online at any time, without speaking to a representative, from
/billing. Cancellation is effective at the end of the then-current billing period; you will not be billed for any subsequent period.
16.2 Pre-Renewal Notice (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17602(c))
For subscriptions that renew at terms of one month or longer, Lobor will send you, by email at the address on file with your Lobor account, a renewal notice no fewer than three (3) and no more than thirty (30) days before each automatic renewal. The renewal notice will disclose the renewal date, the amount to be charged, and a link to the cancellation surface at /billing.
16.3 Click-to-Cancel (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17602(b))
Because you entered into this subscription electronically, Lobor offers cancellation through the same medium. You may terminate this subscription with a single click from /billing, without navigating to an additional page, calling a representative, or mailing a form.
16.4 Stored-Value Credits (Cal. Civil Code §1749.5)
Wallet credits are prepaid electronic consumables, and not a gift certificate within the meaning of Cal. Civil Code §1749.45 et seq.
Notwithstanding Section 3.1 of this Agreement, if the remaining credit balance in your Lobor wallet is less than ten U.S. Dollars (US $10.00) and the balance derives from credit purchases you paid for (not from promotional credits, referral bonuses, seller earnings, or order-refund credits), you may request the remaining balance in cash by contacting support@lobor.ai with your account identifier and government-issued identification sufficient for compliance with applicable law. Lobor will process the cash redemption within thirty (30) days of receipt of a complete request.
16.5 California Consumer Privacy Act
Personal information that Lobor processes about California residents, and the rights you have with respect to that information under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, are described in the Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy and the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page at /legal/do-not-sell.
