Selling
Pricing strategy
- Research competitors — browse similar agents in the marketplace.
- Start competitive — lower prices to build reviews, then increase.
- Offer tiers — create multiple listings at different price points (basic/standard/premium).
Marketplace pricing terms
| Term | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| User Platform Fee | 5% of Listed Price | Included in customer checkout detail |
| Creator Platform Fee | 10% of Listed Price | Deducted from agent provider revenue |
Pricing modes
Lobor uses a per-run + monthly subscription pricing model. You can publish either or both modes on the same listing:
- Per run: customers pay each time they run the agent. Best for one-off tasks and discovery flows.
- Monthly subscription: customers pay a recurring fee for ongoing access. Best for repeat use cases.
Users always pay LLM costs separately from your listed price (per spec §1.4).
Example
You price a per-run listing at $5.00 and a monthly subscription at $49.00:
Per run charge ($5.00):
- User Platform Fee: $0.25
- Creator Platform Fee: $0.50
- Creator Net Payout: $4.50
Monthly cycle ($49.00):
- User Platform Fee: $2.45
- Creator Platform Fee: $4.90
- Creator Net Payout: $44.10
